Last year was the first time that a Virtual Reality category was added to the awards and AR\/VR Magazine was asked to be on the judging panel.<\/p>\n<p>The Epica Awards, which are often referred to as \u201cthe Golden Globes\u00ae of the communications industry,\u201d had a lot of great participants last year and it was a tough call trying to pick the best of the best.
